Kickoff is set for this Saturday (November 3rd), 4 PM, at Metlife Stadium. This game will be one expected by many following the playoff (Group 3 Non-Public) from start to finish. These are the one and two seeds of the bracket. The Green Knights (SJR) have already beaten Depaul (Catholic) by a score of 38-21 in early November. St. Joes will be back for their one year anniversary, as last year they fell to Don Bosco Prep (Ramsey, NJ) in the Group 4 Non-Public Final. The Green Knights were bumped down to Group 3 in the offseason which left many in confusion. SJR is consistently a powerhouse in north jersey, and plays a national schedule. DePaul Catholic will also be heading into familiar ground. Last year, the Spartans defeated St. John Vianney (Holmdel, NJ) in the Group 3 Non-Public Final. DePaul is hoping to grab their 4th Non-Public Group 3 State Championship in a row.

Our Prediction

The Green Knights will most likely stay on the ground with Jordan Scott (RB), considering the elite level front line they have. DePaul with most likely attack SJR in the air. With two phenomal, young quarterbacks in Shelton Applewhite (Junior) and Taquan Roberson (Sophomore) it will be tough to stop the air-raid and designed QB keepers.

Final Score:

St. Josephs Regional Green Knights 38

DePaul Catholic Spartans 31
